Activism is all about conflict, isn’t it? Award-winning craftivist campaigner Sarah will outline some ways that a desire for social change can be combined with an approach to activism which is more joyful, positive, and less prone to push campaigners to burn out. With examples from the campaigns she’s worked on and others, she’ll talk through how approaches and tools such as open questioning, background research to help build connections and meeting with vulnerability can break a deadlock and bring a new dimension to a campaign, followed by a chance to discuss how these ideas could be applied to our own campaigns.
